4 Swedish Art Glass Liquor Glasses by Bengt Orup Johansfors Sweden

Set of four Swedish art glass drinking shot glasses with stripe (strikt) pattern by Bengt Orup, Johansfors (Sweden 1916-1996). 
Handcrafted footed shot glasses made of blown art glass are a great example of exquisite craftsmanship. These glasses flaunt a striped pattern, with circular transparent glass bodies adorned with white encapsulated glass stripes. The skilled technique used in creating these glasses is called "Canne" or "Canne Retorte," which involves incorporating striped glass canes into the design.

The diameter of the bowl rim: 7.3 cm (2.87 inches).
CONDITION: These shot glasses are in good condition, free from any chips, cracks, or repairs. They have been well-preserved over time, allowing their beauty and craftsmanship to shine.
NOTE: Bengt Orup (1916–1996) was one of Sweden's leading glass designers in the 20th century. He is known for his time at Johansfors Glassworks in the 1950s–1970s. Bengt's artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
