SOLD Rare ancient circa 1500 B.C. Bronze Age Period Greek bronze short sword - dagger blade A type; Outside the Greek mainland and Crete the A type swords are in fact attested in the Cycladic islands, and in the Ionian islands.
A double-edged tapering blade with flattened medial ridge, and a short tang. The base pierced with four rivet holes for the attachment of a handle.
CONDITION: In very good condition considering its age, well preserved with beautiful green patina showing its age and usage.

Width of the blade at the widest point: 4.8 cm (1 57⁄64 inches)
