Ancient, Pre-Columbian, Colima culture Protoclassic ca. 200 B.C. - 250 A.D. ceramic effigy vessel in the form of a duck with low rounded body, small wings to the sides as if ready for flaying, the short tail at the back and the flaring spout emerging from the center.
CONDITION: as can be seen in this photo, the bottom part of the vessel has been broken and re-glued.
MEASUREMENTS: Length: 23cm (9 in) Height: 18 cm (7 1/8 in).
