Antique 16th -18th Century Russian Orthodox Silver Cross Telnik Крест-тельник
This is a solid silver Russian Orthodox cross, commonly known as Telnik (Крест-тельник), an antique from the 16th -18th century.
The cross is intricately designed and crafted with great attention to detail. It features a traditional Orthodox design with an ornate, tapered shape and decorative engravings. This piece is thought to have originated in Veliky Novgorod, a historic city in northwestern Russia.
