Antique 17th-18th Century Turkish Ottoman Islamic Copper Tray Sini

This exceptional antique Turkish Ottoman Islamic copper tray (Sini) dates back to the 17th to 18th century. It features a rounded shape with an upturned rim and is beautifully engraved with a central roundel that displays a six-pointed star, known as the Seal of Solomon (Khātim Sulaymāni خاتم سليمان). Surrounding this central motif are several concentric bands adorned with entwined split arabesques, along with alternating designs of two-handled lidded jars and stylized domed buildings flanked by cypress trees.

CONDITION: Overall in very good condition, except for an old repair on the rim. The surface features an untouched dark patina with deposits of an old white polishing substance, possibly chalk, in the chiseled grooves.
