Antique 17th Century Chinese Ming Dynasty Bronze Censer Incense Burner
Antique 17th century Chinese, Ming Dynasty, cast bronze and hand-chiseled incense burner (censer) with an elaborate rectangular body adorned with three bands.
The square-form censer is raised on four mask feet. The body is molded with archaistic bands of stylized dragons, lappets, and flower scrolls.
PROVENANCE: A 17th-century Ming Dynasty censer sold for GBP 3,750 (US$4,904) in Christie's London auction catalog "The Art of China: Including Private English Collections" in 2019.
