SOLD Antique 18th century Indo Persian Islamic Armour Bazuband
SOLD Superb quality, antique 18th century Indo Persian Islamic "vambraces" armour Bazuband of characteristic form made of very well hand hammered extremely thick steel plate. Adorned on the center in low relief elaborate three profusely hand chiselled medallions containing horseman wearing kulah khud helmet and surrounded by six cusped cartouches depicting various animals. The rim bordered with a chased floral band all richly adorned with gold inlaid koftgari and set with four small buckles for straps. The bazuband comes with its chain mail gauntlet “dastuvana” on leather and fabric lining.
