Antique Buddhist Dhakya Silver Cup Stand with Cover 19th century Tibet

An exceptional antique, Buddhist ceremonial Dhakya - silver cup stand with cover, 19th century, Sino - Tibetan.
It is fitted with a porcelain teacup from the Chinese Qing Dynasty, skillfully hand-painted with auspicious symbols, double happiness end bats.
A hand-hammered cup stand is made of solid silver, has a cylindrical, tapered foot, is finely hand chased with double Dorje Vajra among scrolling patterns, and three gilded medallions engraved with Padma (lotus).
The platform dish is made in the form of eight petals, is hand embossed and engraved in a floral pattern, and adorned with hand chased and partially gilded eight auspicious symbols.
The hand-hammered and embossed solid silver lid in the form of a Buddhist stupa is decorated with hand-engraved floral scrolls and four hand-chiseled and partially gilded medallions comprising a celestial dragon, tiger, lion, and garuda.
The upper part is decorated with four medallions, chiseled and partially gilded with auspicious lotus flowers. The top formed of partially gilded petals is surmounted by a finial bead topped by a silver rosette.
 
CONDITION: In good condition, showing the age and use, porcelain bowl with minor chips on the rim.
We do not know if this cup dates from the same period as the silver stand, as stands were made separately and then fitted with various porcelain cups, which often broke and were replaced with new ones.
