SOLD Antique Polish bronze sculpture, a bust of Polish Marshal Jozef Pilsudski signed at the rear “Sojko” and the date 1930, flanked by two arrows on the sides.
The bust depicts Marshal Jozef Pilsudski in his uniform with military orders, decorations, and medals. The sculpture is cast in high relief, with stunning, finely hand-chiseled details. Mounted on a pale marble plinth, rested on a black marble podium, and adorned with a Polish Eagle within bronze laurel wreath.
CONDITION: Shows signs of age and wear, the plinth chipped.
