Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Fine Ningxia - Ning Hsia Rug Carpet

Antique late 19th century Chinese Ningxia - Ning hsia rug hand knotted with soft silky wool on a cotton foundation. An Ivory field ground with a peach central medallion mandala - like design surrounded by motifs of stylized creeping plants. Surrounded by a wide border in light blue, blue, navy, white and peach colors with various designs including a Greek key.

CONDITION: The rug in general is in good used condition considering its age to be over 100 years old, with full pile, no repairs, no holes or applied patches. Some loss to the two corners of the border, fringes with some wear and minor stain marks. The photographs of the imperfections are attached to the listing.

Approximate measurements without the fringes: 8ft x 5ft (245 cm. x 153 cm)
