Pair of Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Hexagonal Vases
Pair of antique Qing dynasty (1644-1911), Chinese blue-and-white porcelain hexagonal vases made of very good quality semi-transparent white porcelain with flared neck, high slanted shoulders, tall waisted neck, flared rim, and splayed foot. Each is decorated in the Canton style and finely hand-painted in underglaze with vibrant tons of cobalt blue with a continuous riverscape scene, mountains, trees, architectural elements, and human figures.
CONDITION: It is in very good condition, with no cracks, chips, restorations, or repairs. On the back of one of the vases, a small vertical manufacturing fire crack appeared during the firing process in the kiln.
