Antique 19th Century Islamic Indian Bidri Hookah Base Deccan India
Antique Islamic Indian silver-inlaid Bidri hookah base Deccan, India early 19th century. Cast body in an elegant water chestnut shape, with an elongated flaring neck with a flange collar, and raised on a spreading ring foot, richly inlaid in silver with stylized poppy flowers and foliage.
CONDITION: Showing its age and usage with beautiful old patina, some loss to the silver inlaid.
