SOLD A Set of twelve antique 19th century Imperial Russian gold gilt Silver teaspoons Moscow 1869. Marked on the sides of the shafts with the maker’s mark in Cyrillic C DC, predominately with Imperial Russian Moscow assay office marks "84" zolotnics, St George and the Dragon - coat of arms-of the city of Moscow, and the assay master's mark in Cyrillic "BC" Victor Vasilievich Savinsky dates 1869 indicated below. The back of the bowls are splendidly engraved in classic Russian foliate motifs with magnificent detail. The handles are twisted rising to bulbous pommels.
CONDITION: The teaspoons are in very good condition, no dings, dents, soldering, or repairs. The gilding condition is excellent with minor signs of wear.
MEASUREMENTS: Each spoon is approximately: 12.5 cm (5 inches long).
Total weight of silver: 7 ½ troy oz (211 grams).
