SOLD Pair of antique Tibetan rectangular wooden book covers for a Buddhist text book. The exteriors are carved with images of deities. The interior finely hand painted with various deities’ central image of the top book cover depicting a tantric sexual embrace of Chakrasamvara and Vajravarahi flanked by two deities. The bottom cover features the four-armed goddess of wisdom, Prajnaparamita, flanked by two deities.

CONDITION: In its original condition with an old patina. Signs of usage with some wear.
